Hiking Club

Our Saturday hike this week (3.19) will be at Straits State Park at 2 pm! We will be meeting in the back of the Family Fare parking lot (the section that is closest to US-2/State St.) and walking into the park together. We’re meeting here because technically to enter the park you need to either have a recreation passport on your vehicle or pay. So to abide by all of the proper rules we will be meeting outside of the park and then (freely) walking in together!

If for some reason there is a downpour that afternoon, I will send a follow-up email and post on our Facebook page canceling the hike. But if there is only a light sprinkling of rain (or no rain at all) the hike will still be on for all who wish to join. Again, dogs are welcome so long as they are leashed and you carry poop bags, and people of all ages and abilities are always encouraged to come out with us!
