Hiking Club

For this Saturday’s hike on March 5, we are going to be visiting the Headland’s International Dark Sky Park (during the day) in Mackinaw City!

Parking at the park is free but it does require us to cross the bridge. Morgan, who will be leading this hike, has offered to carpool for anyone who would like to come but does not want to worry about bridge fare. For anyone interested in carpooling (from the Little Bear East Arena) please let either myself or Morgan know by Friday afternoon!
There will also be trekking poles available for anyone who wants to borrow a pair on the hike, regardless of snowshoe use. Leashed dogs are permitted on this trail (with poop bags, please!) and, as always, people of all ages and abilities are welcome! We will be meeting in the first parking lot right inside the park off of Headland’s road at 2pm.
