Garbage Collection & Recycling

As of May 1, 2020 the City of St. Ignace contracts with Green For Life (GFL) for residential trash pick-up and recycling for City residents only.

Curbside recycling pick-up is the last Thursday of each month. Accepted materials are as follows: Bi-metal and aluminum cans, plastics 1 through 7, paper, newsprint, magazines, and aseptic containers (ex: juice cartons). NO cardboard and NO glass at curbside.

GFL observes the following holidays, which will delay services by one day: New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
