Lakeside Cemetery

Overview

The City of St. Ignace is responsible for the administration and care of the Lakeside Cemetery. Questions regarding burial plots can be directed to the City Clerk's office.

The cemetery was long-owned by the Lakeside Cemetery Association, established in 1887. After 115 years of ownership, the Association transferred operations and ownership of the cemetery to the City in 2002.
