July Board of Review

The Board of Review will hold a Special Meeting at City Hall on July 19th, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.
The purpose of this meeting is to correct, in the 2022 assessment and/or tax roll:
- Qualified errors,
- Principle Residence Exemptions,
- Qualified Agricultural Exemptions,
- Poverty Exemptions, and
- Qualified Disabled Veterans Exemptions
An owner of a property that is a “qualified principle residence”, or is a “qualified agricultural property" on June 1st, 2022, may appeal to the Board of Review if an affidavit was claimed to have been filed, but the exemption was not on the tax roll.
Pursuant to MCL 211.7b, exemptions for qualified disabled veterans or their surviving unmarried spouses may also be heard.
